Privacy Policy

This policy describes the categories of information the current Leyamoo service may process and why. It intentionally avoids promising practices that are not supported by the current product.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Leyamoo website, mobile Web application and Leyamoo features that link to it. The service is currently in development.

2. Information Leyamoo may process

• Account and authentication: account identifier, email address, phone number if provided, language, and information needed for Google or email-code sign-in.
• Dating profile: first/display name, birthdate, age, gender, preferences, city, region, country, hometown/country of origin where provided, bio, headline, dating intention, relationship status, height, work, education, languages, interests and optional profile attributes.
• Optional sensitive profile data: some fields may concern religion, sexual orientation, family plans or other personal preferences. Members should provide them only if they want to use the related features.
• Photos and verification: profile photos, the selected verification reference photo, verification selfie, verification status and review information. A photo used for an active verification may be locked against deletion to preserve badge integrity.
• Location: city, region, country, location label and, where a member chooses to use a feature that requests it, location coordinates. Current Web onboarding can work with a residence city without requiring browser GPS access.
• Interactions: profile views, likes, passes, super likes, waves, favourites, matches, unlocks and other actions used to operate discovery.
• Messages: message content, sent media, timestamps, delivery/read receipts and conversation settings.
• Safety and moderation: blocks, reports, reasons, comments, verification requests, decisions and review notes where needed.
• Activity and presence: last activity, online status when enabled, display preferences and data needed for notifications.
• Device and notifications: notification tokens, platform, app version, some device identifiers where available and technical data such as IP address or browser information in technical logs.
• Coins and purchases: coin balance, transaction history, products, rewards, purchase status and identifiers/tokens supplied by a payment platform where these features are used. Leyamoo does not need to store full card numbers when payment is handled by an external provider.

3. Why this information is used

• Create and secure accounts.
• Display profiles and operate Discover/Encounters, preferences and matches.
• Provide messaging, receipts, notifications and presence.
• Provide profile verification and safety tools.
• Manage coins, rewards, boosts, Premium and purchases where available.
• Prevent abuse, investigate reports and enforce rules.
• Diagnose errors, protect the service and maintain version compatibility.
• Meet applicable legal obligations.

4. What other members can see

Depending on settings and features used, other members may see information intended for the public profile: photos, display name, age, city or general area, bio, headline, interests, profile attributes, verified status and certain activity indicators. Messages are intended for conversation participants. Privacy settings may limit some information, but no setting should be treated as a guarantee of anonymity.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Leyamoo uses technical providers for hosting, databases, authentication, file storage, notifications, email and, where available, payments. Information may be processed by these providers to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect a person, investigate fraud or secure the service.

6. Advertising and sale of information

The current Web version described by this code does not contain a feature intended to sell personal information to advertisers or an integrated third-party behavioural advertising system. If advertising or business practices change, this policy must be updated and required choices must be offered.

7. Retention and deletion

Information is kept as long as needed to operate the account, support safety, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Users can request account deletion from settings where the feature is available. Some information may be retained longer where required by law or justified by safety, fraud prevention, backups or disputes. Exact retention periods can differ by data category; Leyamoo does not promise a fixed period here that is not yet technically enforced.

8. Your choices and rights

The product already allows members to edit several profile details and preferences, manage certain notifications, control some visibility indicators, block/unblock members and request account deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, withdraw consent or challenge the handling of your information.

9. Security

Leyamoo uses technical and access controls intended to reduce unauthorized access, including encrypted connections and service-side access restrictions. No Internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Processing outside your region

Infrastructure providers may process or store information in other provinces, countries or regions. Information may therefore be subject to laws in those locations.

11. Minors

Leyamoo is for people aged 18 and over. An account suspected of belonging to a minor may be reported, limited or removed.

12. Changes

This policy may change as the product evolves. The update date appears at the top of this page. Material changes should be communicated appropriately before or when they take effect.
